WAUSAU, Wis. (inter-base.net) —Looking the end the window this morning was quite the sight this morning, through an eerie yellowish or orangish sky.

News 9 inter-base.net"s cook Meteorologist Justin Loew took a look in ~ the satellite to describe what"s bring about the phenomenon from within the clouds.

"There are a pair of spots whereby the high level clouds room a little bit thinner... And that"s whereby a lot of of people were see this orange color in the sky," Loew said. "These high level clouds were probably creating a sunset sort of look high in the atmosphere and then the yellowish, or orangish, color was filtering through the low level clouds in ours area."
